i didn't realize how i missed the 70s songs until i stumbled upon these. i made a little playlist and hope to add more songs to it someday.

I'm sharing you a jazzy song which I like... not only because it's a nice song... the singer even sounds... hmmm... familiar... :)

Lyrics:
Hello Like Before
Hello like before
I'd never come here
If I'd known that you were here
I must admit though
That's it's nice to see you, dear
You look like you've been doing well
Hello like before
I hope we've grown
'Cause we were only children then
For laughs I guess we both can say
'I knew when'
But then again, that's kiss and tell
Hello like before
I guess it's different
'Cause we know each other now
I guess I've always known
We'd meet again somehow
So that it might as well be now
(Last two verses x2)
Wow, this is my third post for today...
The reason for this is that I'm testing a new file hosting site...
So here it is, a song from Gary V.
What More Can I Say
by Gary Valenciano
You asked me once sometime ago
The reason for my loving you
And wanting you more and more
You know that I still love you
But should I let things be
'Cause saying that there's someone new
Is much too much for me
How long has this been going on?
How long has it been since he held you in his arms?
* Now what are you trying to tell me
What made you feel this way
I'd rather you say it out to me
Than hurt me this way
'Cause I close my eyes
Thinkin' of ways to make you realize
How hard it is for me to see you go
What more can I say
You're going away this time for real
Now who is to blame
Is it you, is it me
Is it right for him to steal you
Steal you away
You've always been my darling
You know I want you to stay
This time tomorrow you'll be gone
It's hard to believe we got to end
What's hardly just begun
[repeat *]
Tell me that this is not
What it seems to be
Just hold me tight and say I'm dreaming
'Cause I can't believe you're leavin' me behind
Don't let the pain disguise the fire
I like to hold you and love you tonight
I like to feel you and make things right
You know I love you
I wanna feel you
I wanna touch you and make things right
For today I am posting an old tagalog love song, for all Pinoys (filipinos) out there. This is just a cover of the 70s song, and this reminds me a lot of my childhood. Not that I fell in love at an early age, but at that time, I was already fond of listening to music...
Ang Pag-Ibig kong Ito
Moonstar88
Umiiyak ang aking pusong nagdurusa
Ngunit ayokong may makakita
Kahit anong sakit ang aking naranasan
'Yan ay ayokong kanyang malaman
Refrain:
Mga araw na nagdaan,
kailanma'y hindi malilimutan
Kay tamis na araw ng pagmamahalan
Ang akala ko'y walang hangganan
Chorus:
Ang pag-ibig kong ito
Luha ang tanging nakamit buhat sa'yo
Kaya't sa Maykapal
Tuwina'y dalangin ko
Sana'y...
(Repeat All)
Kapalaran ko ay magbago
(repeat Refrain)
(repeat Chorus)
Kapalaran ko ay magbago
Wala lang (Nothing, really)... my mood's quite low today...must be the weather...
The weather beau..beu..wait, i'll look up the spelling in google...
Ok, the weather BUREAU has been declaring/predicting, that typhoons (3, actually) will hit the city since last week. And as expected, the media is having a frenzy over this news -- to the point of over reacting really. As a result, our company Fun Run scheduled last Thursday was abruptly cancelled. The kids' classes were suspended last Friday and today. And what do we see outside? Dark clouds. As in no rain at all. Alright, there's slight wind, but not strong enough to topple umbrellas while walking...but who needs umbrellas? Anyway, it's a welcome treat, after all, the temperature has dramatically gotten low, from the usual summery heat and at least we're safe.
But man, these dark clouds make me real gloomy.
What a way to listen to this song, another OPM by my ex. (hey, i have the right to dream, you know).
