For today I am posting an old tagalog love song, for all Pinoys (filipinos) out there.  This is just a cover of the 70s song, and this reminds me a lot of my childhood.  Not that I fell in love at an early age, but at that time, I was already fond of listening to music...

today all filipinos and catholics observe All Saints Day.  tomorrow is the All Souls Day when we all remember our departed loved ones.  however, as early as yesterday, traffic has already built up in the cemeteries.  the president has declared today and tomorrow as non-working holidays so it's a long weekend for us.  traffic is getting bad not only in cemeteries but in the provincial roads as well.  many are taking the opportunity to spend the long weekend in nearby vacation resorts. 

as for me, i'm just staying home.  i'm not going to the province where my dear departed loved ones are buried.  so many issues there, it's complicated to explain. 

so thru this blog i'm remembering my late loved ones...

my younger brother, Luisito. (d. 1983)

my grandfather, Gomercindo (d. 1986)

my grandmother, Asuncion (d. 1994)

i'm sure all of them are now resting in peace.  with this i'm saying a short prayer for them...
