I just got back from another long weekend, which explains why I didn't have any posts since Friday.

So, what did I miss? 

Last Thursday, before I left, I sent practically all my friends in my email inbox a link to our vacation photos.  I was surprised coz I got plenty of replies afterwards.  Hmmm, feels good to get in touch with long lost friends again...

Then during the weekend I learned from the news that Gabby Concepcion, an 80s matinee idol was back, after a long (is that 7 years?) hiatus from the US.  Anyway, he left behind a former wife, who's also an actress (a famous one at that).  Of course, the showbiz press was all over the 2 of them, hinting if they were talking again, if they're going to do a movie together, etc.  And then in an interview, the wife was telling the press that husband didn't even bother to apologize to her (he left her for another woman, and so far, there has been 3 after the original wife) and that there had never been a CLOSURE between them.

Ok, closure.  That's a big word for me.  I used to think that this was a good idea, to close whatever hanging doubts/questions you have on your relationship.  However, I learned that this is not actually a good idea after all.    It's better to just keep it all behind you and time will come that you'll eventually forget about it.  Trust me, because I learned it the hard way.

I wasn't able to post the whole weekend, so i'm making it up today...

I was so busy the whole 3-day weekend.  Last Thursday, my friend Miriam had her long overdue birthday celebration, wherelse but in a videoke club.  We kept on postponing the *bash* because of the weather and some office activities last week.  It almost didn't push through again because of some hotel siege brought about by some rebel military officers.  Hmp!  But everything was already planned, from the drinks, to the venue, to the invitees, to the food, that nothing and nobody could stop us.  Then at 7pm we were told that there would be a 12MN - 5AM curfew so we had to leave at around 10pm.  Ooooh... anyway, it was really fun!  Lots of music, dancing, food and drinks!  As in tequila mixed with margarita.  Beat that!  But we went home before 11pm, so technically, good girls naman kami.

still feeling high after watching beyonce's concert last night at The Fort in Taguig.  Beyonce was very sexy, in all her bootyliciousness, singing and dancing to the audience's excitement.  well, the audience at the front probably had the most excitement (after shelling out 25k!), but for us general admissionists, we were contented (and satisfied) having to see beyonce in the flesh, but just a millimeter in height. 

as i have predicted in my previous post, we just watched beyonce thru the large videowalls (thank goodness for them) with her changing outfits 5 times, strutting her booties and dancing all over the impressive stage.  we were not disappointed at all because the sound system was very good so we were still able to enjoy beyonce's singing prowess, then sing and dance with her, too!
