rAnDoM tHoUgHts + mUsIc

moments before i checked out of the hotel when i was in china, i switched the tv channel to cnn.  and there it was on the news, cory aquino passed away just hours before.  it was rather expected coz she was bedridden for the past months but it was still very sad to know that she's gone.  i actually shed tears while watching the news.

but i had to set it aside because i was going home.  my big luggage was so heavy i could see the veins in the arms of my driver while he carried it to the back of the vehicle.  and i still had 3 more hand carried bags which i felt weighed almost 10kgs.  when i checked in i was so relieved that the large luggage weighed only 22+ kgs and they didn't charge me anything, thank God.  now i believe those sales persons when they say that this size of bag would hold around 20-25kg.  my bag was filled to the brim and it still weighed 22 kg, not my imagined 30+kg. 

so now that i'm home, my only complaint is my aching shoulders due to those very heavy hand-carried bags.
