not really, it was a "come what may" situation...

oh yes, barely a month married

pure joy...babae nga ako! haha

definitely no!

the hubby

no...

october 21, 1994

10.  did you have morning sickness?
yes, big time! i had graham crackers beside the bed for me to munch on before getting up...doctor's advice to prevent morning sickness...it worked!

11.  what did you crave?
i would eat anything after 10am (after the morning sickness); but i remember having boxes of Pop Tarts in our room...yummy!

12.  who/what irritated you the most?
the smell of spicy squid flakes in one aisle of Rustan's supermarket in Cebu, eeww!! (funny coz i really loved squid flakes when i was still single)

13.  what was your first child's sex?
girl

14.  did you wish you had the opposite sex of what you were getting?
no...

15.  how many pounds did you gain throughout the pregnancy?
uhm...15-17? can't remember..

16.  did you have a baby shower?
no, we were staying in cebu at that time, no relatives, no close friends...but we're happy...

none, it was a breeze...

at this tiny hospital somewhere in zapote in las pinas...

20.  how many hours were you in labor?
3 on-and-off-of-pain hours...

21.  who drove you to the hospital?
our neighbor tita kim... hubby was out of town (boo-hoo-hoo)

22.  who watched you give birth?
doctors and nurses...

23.  was it natural or c-section?
natural delivery...

24.  did you take medicine to ease the pain?
no, it was a quick labor, didn't have time to ask for painkillers...

25.  how much did your child weigh?
7.20 lbs.

Alexa Mae

27.  when was your child actually born?
October 18, 1994

she'll be exactly 13 years old at 10:20AM today
